What is Convoy for a Cure?
Convoy for a Cure is a convoy celebrating women in the trucking industry.

How did Convoy for a Cure get Started?
Rachele Champagne had the idea to celebrate women drivers in the trucking industry. She thought that there was no better way to do that than by supporting a great cause.  She held the first ever all female truck convoy on October 18, 2008 from Cornwall ON to Cardinal ON.  It was a huge success.  Together the ladies raised $15,000 for breast cancer research!

The 1st Annual Alberta Convoy for a Cure had 21 participants and raised over $21,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

This year, we want to DOUBLE those numbers! Mark October 1 on your calendars.

We are letting the men participate as well in a support convoy to follow the ladies this year.  However, they will be required to dress their truck up in pink and there will also be a prize for an optional best “drag” costume.
